At Morland's office, Sherlock confronts Morland over not telling him that he was the victim of a murder attempt. The attack having killed his lover Sabine, Morland says it's too painful to discuss and that the assassin has been dealt with. Convinced he's lying, Sherlock intends to investigate the matter on his own.
